About Me

My pet sitting business was established in October 2007. Previously I worked for 25 years at Bishops Stortford Veterinary Hospital. My career gave me the opportunity to cover a variety of roles including all aspects of Nursing, Reception work, running the Pharmacy, Dietary Clinics, Puppy Socialisation Evenings and presenting Client Information Evenings. With this background, I feel confident that my Pet Sitting Services offer ‘ just that little bit more ‘.

It is important to me that clients and their pets are familiar with the person offering care to them. Your pets are cared for exclusively by myself.  I set up my business with this in mind and have honoured all my bookings accordingly.

I have spent all my life being surrounded by and working with, animals. Pets I have owned over the years include goldfish, hamsters, a variety of birds (some of which were strays brought into the vets) and 2 dachshunds. I started my path towards a career with animals by working weekends and during the summer holidays at my local vets.

After finishing school I was offered a job there and the rest is history; for 25 years I worked at what is now Bishops Stortford Veterinary Hospital. Some years ago I embarked on the ownership of my special Golden Retriever companions; Sadie & Simba. When I started my pet sitting business I was able to spend a lot more time out with the pair into their twilight years. Although no longer physically with me I have lots of happy memories that keep them close in my thoughts. My love for animals and their wellbeing continues every day and I feel privileged that I am able to extend this to pets under my care.
